Opportunities for Involvement

There are always opportunities for work with the program committee, paper reviews, and future division activities. If you are interested in working with the BMD, please visit the Contact Us page. BMD leaders are elected by division members.  New members are welcome — and encouraged!—to serve on the volunteer committees that support the Division’s goals. Committees include:

• Executive Committee—Plans division activities and supports the division officers.
• Honors and Awards—Hevesy Medal Award
• Communications—Maintains the website, distributes the division newsletter, and informs members about upcoming events.
• Finance—Helps the division allocate and solicit funds for events and conferences.
• Membership—Informs industry professionals of the division’s activities and solicits new participation.
• Nominations—Identifies professionals with the potential to serve as officers or executive committee members.
